Immersive Exhibitions

Available Exhibitions for your event:

The current annual immersive exhibition programme is always included in your event rental price, other previous immersive exhibitions (see below) are also available, please contact us to discuss the possibilities.

Exhibition options:

  • From Vermeer to Van Gogh & Mondriaan

From Vermeer to Van Gogh - Dutch Masters: takes you back to the 17th-century, the golden age of Dutch painters such as Vermeer and Rembrandt capturing the Dutch society with rough seas, scenes of faith and enchanting winter landscapes.

Mondriaan - An abundance of colour: This immersive experience follows the artistic evolution of Mondriaan, who freed himself from the restraints of traditional painting to pioneer a more visionary style: neoplasticism. Mondriaan’s iconic grids of primary colours have inspired artists from all over the world and shaped pop culture.

  • The Kingdom of the Pharaohs & French Orientalist Painters

The Kingdom of the Pharaohs - Witness the world of the pyramid architects and genius craftsmen who dedicated their art to the glory of the pharaohs, and their lives to the deities they worshipped in the hope of being granted access to the afterlife. Rich paintings, reliefs, sculptures, jewels and extraordinary building complexes all tell the incredible story of ancient Egypt.

French Orientalist Painters - Embark on a journey to the rhythm of oriental instruments and the smell of exotic spices. Join us through narrow streets, lively souks and beautiful courtyards. Expect fantasy, mysterious characters, spectacular architecture, desire and mysticism. Geometric patterns come to life and sword dancers, belly dancers and snake charmers fill the scene. Artists such as Benjamin Constant, Théodore Frère and Jean-Léon Gérôme take you on a journey through their visions of an unfamiliar new world, the Orient.

Westergasfabriek was built in 1883 by the British Imperial Continental Gas Association to light the city’s streets, the unique 4-hectare location used to be the largest coal-fired gasworks in the Netherlands. In the Zuiveringshal, the gas was purified in large boilers with sand and chemicals. After the closing of the factory in the late 1960s, the site was left unused. Since 2003, the industrial monument has been lighting up the city again as a centre for arts, culture and hospitality venues.
